Thief River Falls - Mark Lindholm, 48, Thief River Falls, died on Sunday, March 30, 2014 as the result of a house fire.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Mark Lindholm was held Tuesday, April 8, at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with Rev. Robert Dahlen officiating. Interment was held at Satersdal Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls.
Mark Alan Lindholm was born on June 2, 1965 in Grand Forks, N.D., the son of Dean and Lucille (Koukol) Lindholm. The family moved to Thief River Falls, in 1969. Mark attended Northrop Elementary, Franklin Middle and Lincoln High Schools, graduating in 1984.
After high school, Mark began farming with his dad on the family farm in Excel Township, Marshall County.
Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Lucille of Hibbing; brothers, Michael (Karen) Lindholm of Thief River Falls, Allan (Kathy) Lindholm of St. Croix Falls, Wis., David Lindholm of Denver, Colo., John Lindholm of Pinole, Calif.; sisters, Kim (John) Hanson of Owatonna, Cheryl (Nicholas) Danculovich of Hibbing; aunts and uncles, Sharon (Maynard) Elj of Nashwauk, Mary Lou (Dennis) Splett of Bremerton, Wash., Jean Koukol of West Allis, Wis.; nephews and nieces, Briar, Blair, Christine, Erika, Marjorie, Sarah, Peggy and David, Sheri Jo, Deana, Jenny, Becca and Chas; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dean in 1998; grandparents, Einerd (Bessie) Lindholm, Frank (Lucille) Koukol; and several aunts and uncles.
